Getting GPS

A clear view of the sky will provide the highest satellite count and therefore the strongest  GPS signal.
Obstructions such as trees, buildings, mountains, electromagnetic interference from radio towers, onboard radio transmission equipment and even the time of day can reduce the quality of the GPS signal.

If you see the "Getting GPS" message for more than 15 minutes, then you have to identify which of the devices is lacking GPS signal and report this issue via AirLoader. To identify the device look at the AirLeash LCD screen:

If you see that AirDog is the device that can't get a GPS lock then please pull out the battery and look inside of AirDog and check if the GPS module wires are straight up (not bent over the GPS antenna):

Please straighten them as shown in the first picture.
